Hope One Walk is an initiative powered by Healing Home Group, Inc. This Privacy Policy describes information practices associated with the Hope One Walk mobile app and Hope One Walk website.

The public app does not require users to create an account to browse the journey, route information, events, stories, videos, podcast information, burn center information, or other public content.

Information the App May Collect

Depending on the features used, the Hope One Walk app and integrated service providers may process limited information necessary to operate the app.

Precise Location

Precise location is used for authorized Walker Mode and live journey tracking functionality. When Walker Mode is active and location permission has been granted, location information may be transmitted so the Hope One Walk journey can be displayed and updated.

General users do not need to enable Walker Mode or provide precise location in order to browse the public features of the app. Precise location is used for app functionality and is not used by Hope One Walk for targeted advertising or advertising measurement.

Push Notifications and Device Identifiers

The app uses push-notification technology, including Firebase Cloud Messaging, to deliver app notifications. These services may process a device or app-installation identifier as necessary to provide notification functionality.

These identifiers are not used by Hope One Walk for targeted advertising.

Diagnostic and Technical Information

Integrated technology providers may process limited diagnostic or technical information to support app functionality, reliability, delivery of services, and troubleshooting. This may include technical diagnostic data associated with Firebase and Google service components used by the app.

Other Technical Data

Tracking and Advertising

Hope One Walk does not use the app's precise location, device identifiers, or diagnostic information to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising or advertising measurement. Hope One Walk does not sell this app data to data brokers.
